Ace: We had a letter to deliver in Machi and we had planned to move out tomorrow morning. But now it appears that we shall be delayed until they finish.

Hayai: How long do they normally spend going back and forth like this?

Ace: Only a few days.

Hayai: “Only a few days”?!?

Ace: Last time they took nearly a week.

Hayai: How can they stand still for a week just saying quoats?

Ace: I honestly don’t know. But if you wish to do some training you may join the men as I put them through some exercises.

Hayai: Sounds good to me.
